ACTIVE BREAKS AT SCHOOL: MOVING TO LEARN AND PROMOTE DAILY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

Abstract


Active breaks (AB) are an opportunity to improve physical activity levels (PAL) and factors related to academic performance (AP). The aim was to investigate the efficiency of AB on the PAL and AP of students. 15 studies were selected according to the following inclusion criteria: a) studies published between 2020 and 2024; b) participant aged from 8 to 15. The consulted databases were SPORTDiscus, PubMed and Web of Science. This short review highlights the benefits of AB on the learning process.
